DIY Petal Shoe

Get the look of couture without breaking the bank!

We love the world of couture designers here at B and WeddingsOnline.ie and even more than that, we love couture on the cheap! So when we found this Christian Louboutin look alike; we knew it would be perfect for our DIY special. We found it on fashion blogger, Maegan Tintari’s site, lovemaegan.com.  It is everything a DIY project should be; easy to do, economical and looks far more expensive than it is. Step Three: Cut out 3” single petals - as many as you need - {they don’t have to be perfect - a bit of frayed edges ads great texture}.

Step Four: Stitch three bases onto ribbon one at a time, pinching a bit to pucker.

Step Five: Add single petals on top of the bases, filling in the spaces and adding volume.  It’s up to you how fluffy you want them.

Step Six: Cut out and stitch on Velcro {burn edges of ribbon to prevent from fraying}
