Whether you're hopping on a plane to the Bahamas for your honeymoon (hate you!), planning a day after BBQ with some sore-headed guests, chilling out at a hotel, or going all out with a formal dinner and celebratory dance (first night on the town as as Mrs. maybe?) - we've found the perfect day after wedding dress. We're loving white day after dresses for spring/summer brides because they give us girls yet another chance to feel like a bride (you gotsta milk it, people!) and more importantly, means you can show off those wedding shoes in all their glory! 1. This beautiful embroidered chiffon maxi dress from Mango is a great choice for boho style beauties who fancy feeling comfy and bride-like the day after their wedding. Give the heels a miss with this one and go for a pair of tan/gold sandals and a brown suede slouchy bag to tie it together.
2. This very casual summer shirt is fab for a low key day-after BBQ with friends and family. Perfect for sunny weather this can be worn with a pair of statement wedges and a light blazer to create a cool, breezy bridal look.
3. This very pretty crochet and tulle maxi, also from Mango, reminds us a lot of this bride’s Maria Luisa Rabell wedding dress, which we fell in love with a couple of weeks ago. It is perfect for a day-after BBQ or light lunch with friends. Wear with a brown leather jacket and gold studded sandals for a harder edge and you’ll be rocking a very cool ‘biker bride’ look, which is super hot.
4. For a more formal affair (or perhaps the rehearsal dinner?) we love this ivory twill pencil skirt with lace waist trim. This will work amazingly well with wedding shoes, or if you’d rather something different, a pair of platform nude heels which are everywhere this season (and will make your legs look longer - win!)

5. This is a more decadent day-after dress, from the Karen Millen Spring Summer 2013 collection, which could also easily be worn as a wedding reception dress. The floral embroidery is perfectly on trend at the moment, and the hand-crafted cutwork detail gives this dress a couture feel. You may just enjoy wearing this as much as your actual wedding dress!
6. We can’t say no to a peplum, can we? This Karen Millen white pencil peplum dress is ideal for a formal day-after dinner or cocktail evening (as it is for a rehearsal dinner or reception). The structured bow detail is very reminiscent of Vera Wang’s 2010 and Fall 2011 bridal collection, which used origami style bow belts in white, ivory and black to provide shape and structure. Love.
7. Em, how cute is this French Connection halterneck dress?! This floral embroidered dress is just the right side of spring for a garden party and is extremely versatile (flats, sandals, wedges, heels, leather jacket, blazer, cardie - take your pick!) The halter style and full skirt is a bit Betty from Mad Men, which we think is a very chic look for a new bride (minus the ‘tude, of course).

8. This is a little blow-the-budget, but it’s one of the nicest we came across on our day-after dress quest! This pretty tulle Coast number features sheer tulle shoulder straps topped with an elaborately layered shoulder detail, and gorgeous synched-in waist belt. This is a dress that will come out of the closet again and again for parties, christenings, Christmases, you name it, so think of it as more of an investment piece, if it makes you feel a little better about the pricetag.
9. This simple, elegant pale pink chiffon dress is beautiful for a summer day-after BBQ or lunch. The cute ruffle collar reminds us of some of the beautiful wedding cakes we’ve come across lately (honestly some of them are more like couture gowns than cakes, so it’s a good thing.) It’s very versatile and can be worn dressed up with heels or down with strappy sandals.
10. Can this be classed as a ‘something blue’? If so, gimme. We have seriously fallen for this ridiculously pretty pale blue polka-dot dress (down from €140 to €70, by the way) which is perfect for day-after bridal glamour. Okay, it’s not white, but it’s a beautiful summer blue and will still match with most wedding shoes. Our favourite feature of this has to be cut out back, but we also love the fan sleeves... and the full skirt... and the embroidery detail... and the fitted waist. Oh here, just take our money now.
11. This beautiful beige halterneck dress would be wonderful for a semi formal day-after affair. Luxe piped inserts, a sheer overlay neckline and a boned bodice will give you all the comfort and glamour you'd expect from a wedding dress, so it won't feel like you're in 'civvies' too soon after the big day.

12. This pale yellow Topshop prom dress is a gorgeous choice for a pretty, casual day after dress. Pair with a pastel blazer and some pretty flats and you’re good to go. To dress it up a little, try heels, a gold skinny belt and some oversized earrings.
13. This 60s style white crochet dress from Topshop covers a variety of summer trends this year. We like it for a day after cocktail party on the lawn and we think it’s one you’ll have as a staple during your honeymoon too. The round neck balances out the cut-out midriff, and gives a great excuse for showing off that wedding-ready bronzed bod you’ve got yourself!
14. We couldn’t resist throwing this gorgeous little floral number into the mix. This is a more casual, light day-after dress, which is guaranteed to make you feel as fresh as a daisy the morning after the night before! We love that it’s handy enough to throw on and go, so you can get onto more pressing matters of the day - relaxing, having fun, and enjoying being a Mrs!
15. If you're planning a cocktail party or themed event (we're thinking Great Gatsby style lawn party, maybe?!) this flapper style blue gown might be the day-after dress for you. Vintage is still a big theme in weddings and if you've gone for that for your big day, this dress could be a great continuation of the theme. We love the detail on the dress, which will sparkle beautifully in the summer sun.
