Decisions, Decisions!

My goodness how many there are!! Bridesmaid dresses, invitations, flowers, suits, honeymoon, where do you start???

I thought when I started feeling sick at the beginning of March that I was stressed out, thinking about the wedding too much, trying to plan ahead too much..turns out it wasn't stress - rather acute appendicitis!! Ended up in St James for a week getting my appendix out! Well, better this year than this time next year, and better out than in as my mother said :-) that was a bit of a set back and a shock to everybody but fully recovered now thank god. My only worry in hospital was would I be well enough to go on holidays 4 weeks later!! Luckily, I was given the ok to go.as long as I wasn't carrying any heavy suitcases..but like I told the doctor. That's what himself is there for !

Had an absolute ball in New York, over for St Patricks day. Had a quick browse in Macy's Bridal. Sure you just have to! And spent a happy couple of hours making up my imaginary gift list..if only! Have to say that I resisted temptation and avoided all wedding-y references and shops after getting it out of my system in Macys and just enjoyed the rest of my holiday..one of the highlights was dinner in the Rainbow Grill, 65th Floor of the Rockerfeller centre, and having our photo taken there with the Empire State building glowing in the background! Would love to have gone dancing there, but with a $25 cover charge each just to go into the dancefloor, we decided we'd leave that until the honeymoon!

Back to reality and paying off the visa! Photographer has now been booked, band to be booked in a few weeks hopefully..have almost decided on Bridesmaid dresses, narrowed down to 3 choices and have fallen in love with 2 flowergirl dresses in Monsoon..alas no point in buying them until this time next year.children grow too fast!! Also, have to decide on a colour scheme for bridesmaids dresses etc before I start buying flower girl dresses! Have also found a few different invitation designs that we both like but still not entirely sure which to go for,,waiting for a few more samples to arrive..and again, have to get those bridesmaid dresses first! I still feel calm and in control though.I'd want to with a year to go!!
