Irish music is definitely something different for a wedding ceremony: the sound of the uilleann pipes is wonderful in a church setting. I also play the low whistle, which sounds much like a wooden flute. The music I play is taken from the classical end of traditional music, for instance, pieces by composer O'Carolan. I use some of my own compositions including one I wrote for my own wedding.
