so sorry ssf that ye are having a hard time of it. Definitly a good idea to seek councelling early. Often a independent ear is whats needed especially if an argument keeps repeating itself, you can often just end up going in circles. Best of luck :action32

So sorry to hear that SSF. You have put up with an awful lot over the years from what you've posted and you always come across as very strong and patient and as someone who has made a great effort to support your OH and SD.

Relationships aren't easy and I think you are smart and brave to seek outside help rather than keep the head in the sand. Sometimes it takes someone outside a relationship to point out the obvious and hopefully both of you will it useful. Best of luck with it. :action32

Oh SSF I'm so sorry to read this. I really hope you can find a way to get through this.

I'm wondering if maybe taking SD to see a counsellor would also help? A relative of mine had awful trouble with one of her daughters after their father left and it unearthed a lot and really helped.
