I had come out of a very long relationship and was single at the wrong time - as in all my friends were settled and having babies. So, after a few sat nights in, feeling sorry for myself, I got out and got myself a part time job in a bar. It was just what I needed. I got to dress up, free to chat everyone and anyone with no strings, and made a few quid too! I used to be asked for my number a few times, and if I didnt like them I'd give a false number. I went on a date with one guy that was a customer that turned into a disaster - but - I found myself watching the door around 12 midnight as this one guy used to come in at that time. I would have his pint pulled by the time he reached the bar! He'd stay on and we'd laugh and chat at the end of the night! He walked me home a few times but we were just good pals! but then one night while staying over with me, (he's stayed before) we crossed 'the line' for no other reason other than being bored!!! We are now married 3 years with 2 LO's!!! So, there you go, you never know!!!
By the way, I had my kids first and then got married. I'm 40 now! just thought you'd like to know that in case age was a problem!!
