Trouble in paradise

Trouble in paradise

Postby Posh spice » Thu Apr 12, 2022 4:20 pm

Hi... Really need some advise. I am due to get married next year and have been goin out with HB for along number of years.. We moved in together last year.

He just seems to be getting on my nerves alot lately. When it comes to been clean and tidy etc. . I have tried talking to him , he trys god bless him but its still not enough for me. Maybe im been too fussy , but it really irritates me .

Im just wondering if this is the way married life will be arguing about wet towels been left on the bathroom floor.. :eek

Thanks hun... I know ur right and most couples are probably the same, after all none of us are perfect..

Just sometimes I would love to give him a kiss up the behind. He is too laid back when it comes to sorting things out like renewing his car tax or booking the car in for a service... everything is put on the long finger, where I am totally the opposite, if something needs doing just get on with it... :ooh

It's totally normal!! We were going shopping last Saturday and we were in the car when I noticed he had chocolate all down his hoody :o0 I mean jesus the man is 37!!! I made him take it off so I could try and clean it, and I said to him, 'You're the best husband in the world, but sometimes you really Flip annoy me'! It just really irritated me, like there were chunks of chocolate, really noticeable!

Ah my hubby is like your h2b Posh Spice - soooooo laid back and it drives me nuts at times especially when it comes to doing things around the house. But then he's so great in other ways and I may be great at housework but I'm totally useless in other wifely ways (like cooking, which he does all of!!) so I think we balance each other out. I think as long as your h2b is genuinely making an effort then that's the main thing.
Maybe you're a little stressed about the upcoming wedding? Is he good at helping with that?

You should have seen the same hoody when he had worn it for two more days and managed to get even MORE chocolate and some toothpaste for good measure!

My DH is the same. Waits until the last minute to get his car taxed, nct'd, insured. Doesn't bring his washing down to the basket so after about 2 weeks he has no clean underwear/clothes.
He has his wardrobe in the spare room so I don't see these clothes lying around because I don't go into the spare room so I've decided to leave him to it and I'm sure one day he'll cope on and start bringing clothes down on a regular basis.

He's telling me now about 2 months the house needs to be de-cluttered and theres a lot of stuff we can get rid of and will we get in one Saturday and sort it and I have agreed to this and said to let me know when he wants to do it but he has yet to suggest we sort it. He keeps talking about it but there's no movement out of him O:|

Don't think it gets any better and I'm sure we'll still be giving out about them in years to come.
