Budget Birthday Ideas??

Hi all,

My H2B is turning 30 soon. We have already decided not to do much in the line of presents this year as we are saving like mad for the big day, so we are just going for a nice meal out, just the two of us (this is something we rarely do so it's a treat).

But I'd love to do something else though as 30 is a big one. He doesn't want a big party or anything like that either. Has anyone any ideas or could anyone share what they have done in the past?? Would love some suggestions :)

The daily deal sites are great for getting bargains.. what about a nice canvas print of the two of ye.. heres the link http://www.grabone.ie/dublin/photo-to-canvas-prints-33. theres also some good meal deals on there.

Dh was 40 last year, I booked a city deal night away which included dinner (cheap n cheerful) I also got him 40 presents, some big ie aftershave & an electric razor, some small ie, funny socks, funny boxers, his favourite sweets n crisps, some cans of captain morgans (they came in handy in the hotel room) &lots of other bits n bobs. He was like a big child opening his presents. I was delighted.

The Plan - LDN 4.5mgs 1 a nigth. 5mg Prednisolone daily. Vitamin D3 4 tabs daily, Omega 3, 2 tabs daily. 14 Femara CD3 & 14 Femara CD4, HCG Trigger 20,000 peak, then 5000 p+3+5+7 I'm taking cycolgest until HCG comes in. DH is on the same Vitamin's. Glucophage 3 x 500mg daily
Aleriges - Cow's Milk, Bakers & Brewers Yeast, Potato, Peas, Red Kindey Beans & Blackberries.
Next Appointment with Napro 21st September 2012.
Latest Bloods P= 84.80 O = 253 3rd May 12
P= 70.70 O= 458 29th March 12
P= 89.10 O =522- 28th Feb 12
P= 74.80 O= 420 28th Jan 12

I don't know what your budget is, but if he likes eating out Shanahans do an early bird from 5:00 or so til 6:45 - 3courses for €45, we went for a special occasion recently and I thought it was lovely,and no treating you any differently because you were "only" having the early bird, plus there was loads of food. In the end it was better value than lots of places that looked to have better deals but had lots of supplements and extras

He's already picked his restaurant of choice - has to be Italian for him but I love Italian too thankfully! It's a big treat for us to eat out somewhere nice at the moment so we're really looking forward to it! :o)ll

Get a scrapbook. Print off every single picture you can imagine, no matter how crappy. Get the pics from facebook, friends, family etc. The more the merrier. Glue them all in, no particular order. You'll have a BALL going through them all, trust me!
