We're getting married in December and we're looking at Thailand for 3 weeks! I like to look at it online to cheer me up when I'm freezing and looking at the rain!

November is a great time to visit South Africa as it is the start of their summer so weather should be good. Ideal for someone looking for great hotels, amazing scenery, lots of history and sightseeing, excellent food which is really good value. If you wanted to you could combine South Africa with a beach stay in somewhere like Mauritius. Really depends on that your interests are.

If you would prefer more of a relaxing beach holiday then The Maldives is a lovely option to consider. You could combine this with a few nts in Dubai.

If Travel Focus can be of any assistance to you please be sure to e-mail us at [email protected] or ring 021 4320898 and we will help you plan your perfect honeymoon.

We are getting married end of Oct so Honeymoon-ing in Nov. We've been looking at Carribean & San Francisco... Also considering Mexico & Hawaii with San Fran. Maldives look amazing but I think too expensive unless we cut down to 10 days away but we'd rather 15 -20 nights.

We're getting married in December and are currently looking at Central America and Tanzania. Really can't decide as both are dream destinations.

Anyone know which place would have better weather at this time of year?

We will be heading off on honeymonn the first week of November, and hoping to get six nights in either Mauritius or the Maldives, and then onto Dubai for about 4/5 nights. Met with a travel counsellor this morning so just waiting for her to come back next week with some quotes. Very excited now!

We're getting married at the end of October & are currently considering South Africa & Dubai. We initially wanted to do the Maldives & South Africa, but were informed by travel agent that the prices are ridiculous dear. Wasn't told how much. I have already been to Dubai, but H2B hasn't. Anyone any other recommendations for a 5 night island break. He's not keen on Mauritus - even though its closer to South Africa. Sri Lanka is also not an option.

We haven't booked yet but we will do next week and we're definitely going with Tanzania. :o)ll Going on safari for the first week and then Zanzibar for the second. Zanzibar is quite pricey so we are looking at a few alternative hotels.

Have you booked?

Hi Mrswren,

Yes we booked. We are doing safari for the first week, then climbing Kilimanjaro for the second week and finishing off in Zanizibar for some much needed R&R. Send me a pm if you would like any specific information.

Hi,

We're getting married at end of November, but holding off on a honeymoon until the end of Jan (Thailand or Cambodia, can't decide!). In November you could go to South Africa, no monsoon there, but summer is only beginning and its actually warmer and drier in Jan and Feb. Goa in India is great if you stay in a nice resort, I'm not sure when they have the monsoon there though, and you could always combine it with a few nights in Mumbai!

Happy honeymooning!
