Vaccinations for Carribean Cruise?

Just googled it there for the craic as I hadntever heard of needing vacs and the Tropical Medicine Bureau website recommends we ger vaccinated for Cholera, Tetenus, Hep A and Typhoid :eek

Did anyone else get vacs before travelling? Doing West Carribean cruise- Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

Freaking now- cant afford vaccinations x2 on top of everyting else O:|

We did Eastern Caribbean and to be honest vaccinations never even entered my brain. As you can probably gather we didn't get them(and we lived to tell the tale!).

Me neither until today. I'm in Wedding freak-out mode today and I've been so relaxed up until now :o(

I think if others have survived without vacs I'll be very willing to take the chance :o0

And anyway I would have thought the travel agent would have mentioned them if needed? He went through everything else- ESTA forms, insurance etc.

We did that exact cruise for our honeymoon and didnt hear or even think about getting any, im sure youl be fine.

We did that cruise alsgal, didn't get vaccinations and we're still here to tell the tale :o0

never thought of vaccinations nor did the travel agent mention them to us!
BTH i dont think they are necessary, we should be safe enough aboard a ship
