Are vaccinations needed for a 10 day honeymoon in Bali

Hi there,

Just booked honeymoon to Bali for 10 days, we fly on 5th June, and only realised now that we may need vaccinations.

Does anyone know if we need to get vaccinations or will we be fine with Malaria tablets and mosquito repellant?

Yes you need vaccinations such as Hep A, typhoid, and possibly a booster shot of DTP at the very least. The TMB website has all the info. You need to start these now as some of them require multiple shots.

Malaria prophylaxis is not needed for Bali (it is for Lombok). Protect yourself against the mosquitoes - they were awful to me out there but I get destroyed here as well.
