Currency needed - Dubai and Maldives

Hey ladies,

Just wondering for anyone who has been to these places what currency did you use. DId you use local currenct or dollars or euro or just cards.

You'll need dollars for the maldives for tipping everything else will go to your room and you have a choice of paying by dollars or card at the end of your stay. Have no idea about Dubai.

Hope you have a fab time maldives is just a little piece of paradise :o)ll

Hiya, for Dubai you'll need AED.
You can just draw some out from the ATM at the airport when you get there. You'll need cash for taxi's, tips etc. It's just up to you really whether you want to use card or cash for everything else. We used mainly cash when we were there.
I think the exchange rate is about 4.5 AED to the Euro.
