Algarve Accommodation ????

Hi Ladies,

We are going to the Algarve on our honeymoon for 12 nights, What part should be go to and where should we stay????

Don’t want to spend too much money but if it was something special we might splash out a bit more.

I would prefer an apartment but will consider a hotel.

Do not want anywhere too quiet and close to beach, bars, nightclubs etc

hi,
we went on holiday last year to lagos in the algrave & had a ball. :o)ll
plenty of bars & places to eat.beaches and caves fab.not as lively as albuferia but that would suit us.
stayed in the tivoli hotel, which was beautiful(bar prices a bit steep) we had a lovely room but in chatting to other people they did complain about size of their room so might be worth up grading.
another place worth a look at in algarve is villamoura :wv

Vilamoura is a lovely spot. It's a small town around a marina with all the bars/cafes/restaurants around the marina. The nightlife is good there but it wouldn't be as hectic/busy as Albufeira. The Tivoli Marina Hotel is gorgeous - right on the beach but overlooking the marina as well, it can be quite pricey though. A nice alternative would be any of the Dom Pedro hotels or the Vila Galé Ampalius.
We stayed in the Hilton Vilamoura for a couple of days after we got married which was a gorgeous hotel but is further out from town so may not be what you're looking for.
