DO YOU KNOW ANY CATERERS??

Hi
We are thinking of using a caterer and would prefer not to go with a big firm like Fitzers but an independant, quality caterer. I have done a search on this forum and on google but think asking you girls directly might be my best bet.

p.s. I am posting this in Old Faithful as well as Vendors for the best possible chance of results! : )

Caterers

I really wanted to use a lady from Kildare called Katherine Pringle.

She is amazing I have used her for events through work a couple of times and the food is outstanding.

I'd love to use her for my own wedding but the venue I have chosen will only let us use their chef which is a bit of a pain.

Anyway I think she is registered as a caterer on this web site but she is not difficult to find. She does this type of thing all fo the time and is excellent I cant recommend her highly enough.

Hi Netty, thanks a million. I'm trying to get a ball park figure from a couple of caterers and one quoted me dinner at 60 a head! Is that normal?? The menu was ok, but not great. We'd love to do something a little different in the way of food.I'll find that caterer you mention and give her a ring.

If anyone else has used caterers/had a buffet, how did it work out? We're wondering about the logisitics - can't imagine my mother queueing for chicken!

Caterer

We used a great caterer for a party recently. We had a chinese theme and everything was homemade. Really nice. They do all sorts of food, depending on what you want to order they will cost it for you. They also send you a selection of menus. Depending on where you are having it, a lot of places will not allow you to bring in your own caterer. I dont want to put her email on this site, maybe if you email me directly (pm) I will send it to you.
Definately worth speaking to them, very professional.
