Well if there is anything more I can do then I would be more than happy to, I just wouldn't know how to arrange anything myself. Maybe an auction night wedding related organised by members here?

Hi Rachel,
That was a great offer from you for this very worthy cause and a great example for other photographers to follow.
Another possibility to raise funds through photography would be to get a group of photographers together in one location, perhaps a hotel could donate a function room, and to offer family or child photoshoots using portable studio set-ups for a nominal fee of maybe 25 euro with each family getting perhaps a 15-20 minute family photoshoot and receiving a disc of the photographs once the editing had been done. All it would cost the photographers involved is time on the day and perhaps a day-day and a half of editing and a small cost for materials.
If we got even 10 photographers involved we could each do up to 3 shoots an hour or perhaps 25 shoots in an 8 hour day. That is 250 family photoshoots in total. That is a possibility of 6000 euro in one day for this very worthy cause at one venue. Surely there are 250 wo;;ies out there with families that would be interested in such an idea.I for one will put my name forward, now we need 9 other photographers, a hotel venue and a marketing professional who would get involved in a voluntary basis to promote and advertise the idea. Surely there is a wollie out there who could help in this area. I would be prepared to supply 250 blank printable CD's to be used for the photo discs.
Anyone else interested in getting involved ? Or anyone else with a better suggestion please put it forward.
