hi weddingsonline...
having trouble printing on the precut pocketfold insert...what do people normally do? Can it actually be done on a normal domestic inkjet printer?

I had exact same problem with the inserts. None of the printers I tried worked so I went down to the printers with my usb and handed over the inserts and they laughed at me! They are only able to print on big sheets and they then cut them into the size you need. It cost me €45 to get them printed!!! The invites look great and got many compliments but I wish I knew that there would be so much hassle with them..

Oh no, that's so annoying!!! Well, I rang a printer on Saturday in a panic and was told the same thing and to bring in a sample on Tuesday (tomorrow). I got annoyed and went at the printing myself again and changed the paper setting in print setup.....on one printer it was working alright but they were coming out slightly crooked and others just got eaten up!! NEVER WORK WITH TECHNOLOGY!!! I just gave in and went with it... I had done 70 inserts printed by the time the printer conked out. We then tried my mum's Canon printer with only 20 more inserts to print and to our delight it worked absolutely perfectly as we could position the cards in the middle and there were arms to hold them in place. I ended up wasting so many cards trying to get it to work on the first printer and I was annoyed at the crooked ones so I bought new card, guillotined it to size, took out the already stuck in inserts and printed them and stuck them in again. Wish I had tried my mum's printer first!!! They look fabulous but I definitely should have sussed out more about printing them!!
