1. Listen to what you want for your wedding photography, after all it is your wedding day and to me each couple are special and deserve a photographer that will respect your wishes.
2. Offer friendly helpful advice at all times from the experience built up over many years of photographing weddings and be available at all times in the lead up to your wedding for any queries that may arise.
3. Arrive on time on the day of your wedding and so avoid un-necessary stress.
4. Treat you, your family and guests with respect and always in a friendly manner.
5. Blend in with your family and guests so well that you will hardly notice I am there most of the time as I capture the future memories of your special wedding day.
6. Have the ability and the experience to capture the atmosphere, the emotions and the craic of the day as it unfolds from the bridal preparations right through to the first few dances.
7. Capture all those small details that you have specially chosen to make your wedding individual to you, such as, the shoes, the flowers, the jewellery, the detail on your dress, the bridesmaids dresses, the suits, the hairstyles, the make-up, the table settings and table centres, the overall layout of the reception room, your cake, wedding favours etc.
8. Look out for and record those special fleeting moments during the day that most people will miss or not even realise are happening, such as the secret glances between the bride and groom, the joy of the parents/ brothers/sisters/ bridal party, the playful antics of any children at the wedding etc.
9. Be able to gather the family and guests required for those special photographs that you request.
10. Be flexible enough to deal with any last minute requests that crop up during the day.
11. Be creative with the necessary bridal party and family photographs so that your wedding photographs will be more personal to you.
12. Spend as much or as little time as you wish on the family and bridal party photographs at one or more locations on the way to your reception venue while keeping everything on track timewise so as not to disrupt the smooth flow of your day.
13. Ensure that you are not kept from your guests for longer than necessary for photographs, after all it is your day, you have invited people that you want to spend time with and celebrate with and I do not believe in the bride and groom missing out on the craic or the party atmosphere.
14. Capture those casual and candid moments as you mingle with family and friends before the wedding meal.
15. Photograph your guests enjoying the atmosphere of your special day
16. Photograph the various speeches and the guests reactions to them.
17. Create some Romantic portraits of the bride and groom in you Bridal Suite as you grab a few stolen moments away your guests while the band or DJ sets up for the dancing. After all how many of your guests will get to see the fabulous Bridal Suite in your chosen venue.
18. Capture the emotions of your first dance together as husband and wife and continue to take photographs as you are joined on the dance floor by the bridal party and your family and friends.
19. Spend time and take great care editing your photographs after your wedding to enhance them in order to give them that WOW factor that you deserve.
20. Have your proof discs of your wedding photographs available when you return from your honeymoon.
