hi everybody!!

Im new to the site, this is my first time posting!! the site!

I have a bit of a dilema, the venue we are going to is very much in demand and 99% of guests have been to atleast one wedding there before! So im looking to do something/somethings different. I will be getting a pix and mix stand, but i really would love some help to think up of ideas, and would love to know of special ideas that other brides planned for their big day!

I look forward to hearing how they went and maybe some tips of stuff to stay away from!

I would recommend having the likes of flower flair decorate your table, you could have bird cages filled with flowers for something different. I also have a bride who is having materials draped from the ceiling for her wedding in the K Club so I am really looking forward to seeing that!

Also you could have pre dinner entertainment such as a tring quartet or trio, manilla strings or similar or an acoustic set! There are lots of ways to add something extra special although in my experience they are often in the smaller details!

Was at a wedding recently where they had roulette and blackjack tables. Might sound a bit tacky but it was really well done with professional croupiers. Everyone got a virtual €20 to start and then whoever had the most at the end of the night got a bottle of champers. They also had giant connect four and jenga. Depends on the venue.
