50's design

Completely new here, looking for a wedding dress designer if anyone can recommend someone from past experience?
Long story short, I was going to wear my gran's dress but it was destroyed in a flood and I was looking for a designer who could match it as close as they could going from photographs?
Having a hard time tracking people down, perhaps I'm not searching properly.
Getting married summer 2014, so trying to get a head start!!
