opinions on dress?

Hi, people have been very helpful here, I seriously need to get a dress ordered as I am running out of time, I have been looking at dress makers, off the rack and quick delivery styles, I was wondering if I could get some honest opinions on the below dress, thank you!!

yes, it's a lovely dress, but I really don't see how my saying that is going to help you... what style suits you? (sorry if that comes across a bit blunt).

For what it's worth - if at all possible, try & steer clear of falling in to the trap of ordering what looks like a gorgeous dress from one of those "custom made" chinese sites, have seen it happen so many times on this site that a bride will order from them & when the get the finished product it looks nothing like the photograph (which has usually been stolen from the original designer's site) & they're usually falling apart at the seams, meaning they have to go back to the drawing board & buy something from a shop anyway.

Have you been to many shops? If budget is an issue, have you tried shops like Memories, which sells preloved gowns? Or sites like sellmyweddingdress.net?

Hi everyone, thanks for the replies, I tried a dress on similar to this before and it suited me but was way out of my price range. I was looking for feedback as neither my work colleague or sister are mad on it whatsoever so I am surprised by the overall positive comments , one comment was that the beading looked a bit cheap, so thats why I was looking for wider opinions,I am no expert on dress making. im def staying away from the replica sites, as I know people who have gotten burnt, I have appointment next week with memories, I hear they are great.

Very nice dress but Id be terrified of wearing that material! Looks like it'd show up every lump and bump! I need something with a bit more sucking in power! :hyper:

Im built like a boy, seriously, if I go with that dress i will have to get chicken fillets burnt into the top not to mention some kind of fake ass as well, although my stomach will benefit from some control pants on the day no matter what dress!

Well, hope it goes well (the appointment).
Looking at the pics, I think it's a fab dress, very vintage & delicate. People have all sorts of opinions, I guess, but ultimately, the one that matters most is yours! If you've got a boyish figure then I think this style would work gorgeously (my sister is also very tall & thin & boyish & when she was trying on wedding dresses, this sort of style worked really well on her).

Thanks everyone we'll see what happens, obviously my sister and work friend have no taste, I also think its very pretty! I would like to see the beading upfront myself though after the "cheap" comments. Im not very tall unfortunately, so Im more like a short boy than a tall one. Thanks again

This is a pretty dress but as another poster said, it looks VERY unforgiving. Be careful of dresses in this material. You would want to try it on to make sure it's flattering.
I tried on a dress like this and I am in pretty good shape but it made me look very lumpy bumpy
