when are people going to order their invites?

think i am going to make my own depending on how much they cost. probably won't bother looking at invites until at least September or October. leave plenty of time if going with the likes of Vistaprint. there was a thread up here a while ago about someone who left it quite late to order invites and when they arrived they were wrong but she was on a short time frame so it was very stressful so give plenty of time to ensure any mistakes can be recified.

and cant wait! Not as orgainised as most of you, only have venue booked, we are having a civil ceremony, and we'v been onto the registrar. Trying to book a band at the moe, we are in Mullingar, and theres bout 5 bands we like but only one are playing in Mullingar (next Friday goin to see them and book if we like them) the rest are mainly Dublin, im preggers and have recently put my pelvis outa place :weep

so getting up to Dublin at the moe isnt possible, but hopefully we wil get a band sorted soon, then onto the photographer. Girls hope use are enjoyen the dress shopping, Im not due till Sept, so cant shop till after that and it feels like a lifetime away so enjoy the dress shopping!

I had such a productive week last week! Managed to get bridesmaid/ flowergirl dresses and booked hairdresser and make up artist! I'm on a roll

im preggers and have recently put my pelvis outa place

Well fellow May brides just organising my first shopping trip for the dress!! Gonna try De staffords and the bridal shop in Powerscourt shopping centre...looking forward to it but nervous....my three bridesmaids and my mam all want to come do ye think that they'll think im mad in the shops???

Just bought our wedding wine as it was on sale in Tescos. The checkout lady was looking at me funny given how heavily pregnant I am and there I was with a slice pan and 50 bottles of wine

I didn't .... and my OH jokingly said to her 'She's stocking up on her years supply of wine' to the girl at the checkout. She looked at him blankly so I don't think she got it

Looking forward to getting back into the planning again now. Things I have done are just to get the civil ceremony organised, have my wine and my wedding dress so still plenty left to be done!
