Feel like I've won the lotto

I was up with my nana yesterday and we were talking about life, love, marraiges etc.... and she said to me " when you get married you can have my wedding ring" I am so honored. It's not worth a lot of money, or the prettiest ring in the world, but to me it means the world. I feel like I have won the lotto. :o)ll

I am getting married in secret in Oct, but I will ask my nana to be one of my witnesses, she's great at keeping a secret

Herself and my grandad were married in 1946 and had 55 years of blissful marriage, they were so in love :xox

and even though he has gone a few years now she still adores everything about him. My gran will be 90 this year and really is my inspiration.

i loved my gran to bits too, & admired her greatly & would've loved for her to be with me on our special day, but she'll be there in spirit.

This has really moved me. My nanny passed away a few years ago and it pains me that she wont be with me in person to celebrate our day, she never even met my fiance and i know she would have loved him. What a fantastic gift for your nana to give you and for you to give her. All the money in the world couldnt buy a bond like that xx

That's so lovely. My Granny is also 90 and they are fantastic for keeping secrets and some good advice.
