Donegal venues

Can i please have some feedback on the following venues that are free for my wedding?? Keys Hotel?
Jacksons Hotel?
Mount Errigal?

The other places i want- The Silver Tassie, Villa Rose are not free so looking for feed back on the others please !

I was at a wedding in Jacksons about a month ago and was so impressed. Food was fantastic and the venue was lovely. Not sure if theres a few different function rooms but we were in the function room that overlooked a river. Was really lovely. Havnt been to weddings in the others HTH

I was at a wedding in the mount errigal before, and while everything was lovely they had another wedding that day as well..so something to consider (not sure if theyve sinced changed to having one wedding a day as this was about 3 years ago).

THanks for the replies guys. Ive read quite bad reviews on both the above hotels so am swaying towards Keys! Will not rule them out and will have a look at all 3 id reckon! O-O

going back a few years now me and my partner were looking at the kee's hotel to be honest the main reason we were looking at it was because we couldn't afford the hotel we wanted so we met with the lady i think her name is vicky or kelly?? and she is wonderful so helpful the hotel is very quirky and kinda old fashioned but in a nice way so we took the brochure and thought about it for a while and we ended up postponing our wedding to save more and now we have the hotel we wanted in the first place, but I couldn't recommend them enough we were even there for a wedding fair last weekend and the staff are just so nice and friendly, As for the other hotels i cant help you.

Best of luck picking some where can be difficult :wv

Donegalbridae, thanks for that. All contact ive had with them so far has been wonderful. They are lovely and im looking forward to seeing the hoteel. Ive lived away from Donegal for a very long time now so really not familiar with many places there. Glad you got you're venue - happy planning chick!!
