Is this dress ok for the reception????

Aaaaaahhh... Maybe thats why we're thinking along the same lines?! Ive worked in hotels too... A different perspective on weddings?!

LOVE the dress and your thinking behind it, Go for it!
The only thing that I would be concerned about is what if god for bit a guest showed up in the same dress?? Highly unlikely , but you never know, considering its not from a bridal shop!

Sorry i dont like the dress and defiantly not for the bride. I understand you want to change and freshen up but i think a white dress would be more fitting. People expect to see a wedding dress at a wedding .

I done just what you said i went upstairs as the band had a break for tea and all the evening food came out and had a quick shower , new makeup and dress etc .I felt much better , altho you dont have to change your dress to look fresher and ready for the night . Plenty of brides take 30 mins and put on new makeup etc etc

I love this idea - my MUA will be at my wedding, must ask her if she'd put my slap on again - well not necessarily as much as the first go!!

I agree. A lovely idea... Freshen up, recharge the batteries away from the crowd. Hubby and i hav als asked for a bottle of bubbly to b put in our suite during the drinks reception. We plan to stesl awsy by ourselves for 20mins and enjoy how special it feels to have just got wed!! We plan on savouring every minute of the day as a couple... But then again we have a very small crowd expected so wont have to spend hours doing the rounds!
