Toast or not??

We are wondering to have a toast drink (drink of choice) for everybody on the day. We are havin sparkling wine and cocktail reception for meal we have wine and they said two top ups ... Would we need to buy everyone a drink of choice aswell???

We didn't do that and have been to a few weddings that didn't :wv

I wouldnt think its needed either esp. with 2 top ups. It depends on the numbers of course but you could be talking serious money here .. our hotel said they tell couples to allow 6euro per person so that made our minds up!!!

I think you'll have given the guest enough with the sparkling wine and cocktail reception as well as wine at meal. They won't expect another alcohol beverage again, well I wouldn't anyway!

Tea and coffee will be on offer to our guests when they arrive, but we're still undecided on offering a drink of choice or wine at the meal.
What is for you, won't pass you by..........

I know your not asking but wine at the meal is expected and the norm - a toast is additional.

I noticed these days that alot of people are cutting out the toast....I'll be doing it ourselves.
