raspberry truffles

anyone know a company that does these? we've decided to go ahead and do favours and these are what i want in them!! i'm really crap at looking for things on the internet so any recommendations would be a help thanks :)

Hi neadi.

Have you tried Leonidas? They do a raspberry mouse filling, I think. Not sure about raspberry truffle but they do so many truffles that they prob do. They do favours too in boxes and will print your name and the date on the front. Not sure of the price. Last year's prices for 2 in a box with printing was about €2.50 each.

I know that Butlers chocolates do wedding favours too, along the same lines as Leonidas. I know the name of a stockist for Butlers in the South if you want to pm. If that is any good to you.

Id try Butlers. They definitely have strawberry filled ones...

Hi Neadi

Raspberry Ruffles seem to be a well kept secret in Ireland!!!! When ever I mention them to anyone they think I am mad!!! I am addicted to them and every time I am going home (UK) or someone is coming to visit me, my first request is for a large bag of them. They are made by Bassetts (I think) only place in Ireland I have ever found them is a sweet shop in Dunlaoghaire (no-longer do them) and a friend got them up North once. So I have resorted back to the UK for my supplies!!!!

I've never seen them in ROI but you can get them in the North. Woolsworths pick n mix........mmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmm :)

went to Butlers yesterday and got a sample of a raspberry and a strawberry "truffle" the strawberry one was in dark chocolate but was too creamy, not really truffel that i'm thinking of..the raspberry was in white chocolate and was definitely not a truffle,,,but it was very nice indeed!! they quoted €1,80 per box with 2 chocs, including printing for orders of 100 boxes or more.

now i'm thinking, am i getting ruffles confusted with Truffles?? the ones i'm thinking of are chocolate balls, with bright pink raspberry centres that aren't creamy, they are almost a flaky texture? can't remember where i had them before, but i remember them being very nice!

Oh I think I might have strated something here. Cant comment on truffles but can give a very indepth run down on Ruffles.

The come in a wrapper, burgandy with gold writing. They consist of pink coconut raspberry in flavour, coated in a thin layer of dark chocolate.

my mouth is watering just thinking about them.

Do you think these are the ones?

I would imagine a truffle to be creamy chocolate inside covered in more chocolate.
