I was watching Nigella Lawson on the tv at the weekend and she was making Elvis's fav food.
The first thing she made was fried banana and peanut butter sambos. I made one an hour later, OMG, absolute heaven!!! About a gizillion calories though!!!!
I've that passion for cheese and onion tayto with Cadbury's too
Also love Parmesan cheese (in lumps not grated) with honey or pear (YUM) Snap for the strawberries and balsamic Moniker Go mad for Monster Munch can't get them here  Oh I could also eat really thinly sliced parma ham 'til it came out through my ears! same thing with all types of pickles, I used to drink the vinager when I was a "bearn" My husband dips leftover pizza in his cappucino for breakfast  Oh and naturally I'm very partial to tayho, tamahas and buhher    Last edited by Mrs. Allie on Tue Sep 20, 2022 4:43 pm, edited 1 time in total.
A love of pickles - are you German Mrs Allie? Pickles are wrong -especially gherkins....yeeeuuurrrch!
You did remind me though - parma ham and melon is just diviiiiiiiiine. I'd eat it until it came out me lugs. Must try the parmesan, pear and honey, sounds yum. I'm also partial afther a rake a porther to a curry coleslaw schnackbox! Great food and the sort of thing that you would never, ever eat sober :D Does anyone else here think that cheese should never be included on any sandwich containing chicken or tuna? Honestly, I find even the thought of it revolting........
Nien Moniker! Ich bin nicht eine Berliner !!
yeah can't understand cheese and tuna either. Hadn't really thought about chicken to be honest. I just stick to hang senguiches meself  Ah no I don't really! Mon if you like Parma and melon you should try it with fresh figs... og joy of joys  Jesus, will I ever get out of this Godforsaken hole and get home to me dinner!
Brussels sprouts with falafel = very gassy household. Tend to eat these together when h2b isn't around!
Alpen & raspbery yoghurt - scrummy Parsley sauce = could eat bowls of this on it's own Jaffa cakes & easi-single sandwiches, finished off with a tin of grapefruit and a cup of tea

Hi Ladies,
first of all I'm printing off this thread to prove to H2B that my food tastes are not weird - it could be a lot worse. I love mince stew, french toast with sugar (can't imagine it with salt), a mini box (one piece of southern fried chicken) with real chips, stuffing, peas and sometimes even curry over all of it mmmmm! Wish we had a chipper up the road  Would have onions, garlic, tomatoes and colman's english mustard in almost every meal if possible. Digestive biscuits with custard is another treat when H2B isn't around. I know there's loads more but just can't think of them at the mo.
Firstly I would like to make one thing clear - I love my food ... any food in any order at any time !
Loooovee mushy peas the overnight soaky one Mams extra special deluxe model home made stuffing - always murder in our house when there is stuffing with any meat it gets eaten with spoons ! Love Hunky dorys S & V with dairy milk ... Mmmmmmm Love chickatees (Any cheap taytos/corn snacks) Oxo made in a cup with bits of bread broken off and floating (daddy used to make this for us when we were small ........... he used to put milk Uugh in it to cool it down for us  Guggy egg in a cup and toast soldiers ! Love everything with mayo / chicken and salt Mushrooms rock ! so does cucumber ! One that turns my stomach is my dad with cold cabbage on brown bread with cups of tea ! Grrrrrrrrr
Moniker,
I'm with you on the cheese with chicken or tuna - the concept to me is positively vile. But ladies, a guy in here has taken the biscuit (pardon the pun) for eating unusual combinations - he was seen in the canteen mopping up the gravy on his plate with custard doughnuts! ![]()
I went to McDonalds today cause I was in town at lunchtime and I love adore cheeese burgers... well because the trousers weren't sqeezing my bottom today I thought I might be becoming an anorexic so I thought it was best to pay McD's a visit... you know just to be on the safe side.
Well girls... someone had left off a stink bomb and I didn't know what to do. I was about to have one of my most favourite things in the world but the smell was awful... it was a real dilemma do I stay or do I go... I was like a rabbit trapped in the headlights.... anyway I decided to stay.. and got myself a cheese burger... I practically swallowed it whole and got no satisfaction out of it. I couldn't have a drink cause they were doing roadworks on Winthorp street and somehow they broke the drinks thing. Anyway since I've come back to work I can't shake off the pukey sensation from the "stink bomb" its like as if it got into my lungs... I feel like one of Pavlof's Dogs... like I've been classically conditioned so now each time I think of a cheese burger I'll feel like getting sick because I'll be reminded of the smell of stink bomb.. Anyway to help out with the threatened anorexia I've had a bag of King Crisp lites and a pink wafer snack too... now my belly is flopping over my trousers... I also agree that cheese with Tuna is vomate.... and so is cheese and chicken... my favourite sangwiches are egg with lots of salt, pepper and onion! I don't have weird eating habits but I used to eat cold bisto gravy on fresh white bread with wholegrain mustard and baked beans... absolutely delish when you come in from the pub at 3AM!
