Norwegian Cruise Liners "Epic" Mediterranean Cruise?

Just wondering if anyone has any help or advice about this cruise?

We have it booked for our honeymoon. We have never been on a cruise before and wondering what the protocol is around booking excursions? Booking tables? Anyone been on this ship before. Would love some advice as nervous about waiting to be onboard to sort out paying for things.

Not that excited yet - but have a lot of work to get through first so that might it. Plus all this rubbish with the hotel makes me want to lock myself away somewhere for a good cry! Thank god you only do this once eh?! Thanks love!!

Is this the one that goes from Rome? if it is, my friend went on it for her honeymoon and absolutly loved it. I cant give any specifics about the table and excursion bookings though.

Get yourself over onto cruise critic. It's a forum for cruisers and is a mountain of information. They have a forum for each cruise line and there are alot of experienced cruisers on there, I've only ever cruised Royal carribean so I can't comment on NCL but epic looks amazing! Hi bride2be,

I was never on this cruise but we are going on a Caribean cruise for our honeymoon and it will be our 5th time cruising with them (we like cruises :) ) From experience, I would say book nothing until you get on ths ship, you might have great plans when you are sitting in rainy old Ireland but when you get on the ship, you might actually just want to chill out on deck drinking cocktails all day! You get all the nexct day excursion details each day and on the cruise line we go on, there is an excursion desk with specialists there to answer all your questions.

Tables: We asked for a table for 2 for the honeymoon and we go with the set seating at 8.30pm. For other speciality restaurants on the ship, we have a look around on the first day and book them then for during the week.

Hope this helps, I hope you have a ball. If in doubt, ring the cruise line and check, they are normally so helpful.
