Reasons to be Cheerful

I've been in a funk lately, just feeling miserable and shouty about how bad things are going for us financially and for me with my business. So, I happened to read something about gratitude and how it's important to acknowledge the good things in life as it can help to put us in a better frame of mind and give focus to the positives. I've been posting to my Facebook a/c this week, three good things every day and well I wondered, is it a Wol thread?

I know I feel better thinking about what's good in my life/day, no matter how small or simple. Here are my three for today.

Reasons to be cheerful:
1. It's not raining
2. I was told yesterday that I look like one of those boho Lainey Keogh models. Granted the complimenter didn't see the rest of my body (I was sitting down) but I take it as a compliment!
3. I had a little fizz in my stomach when DH drove by me today unexpectedly!

im in!

1. my little one didnt wake until 8.20 this morn (its usually 7.00) so i had a lovely long shower without interruption....bliss and i got to do my make up in peace its the little things

2. im really looking forward to the match tonight as dh is there and i keep thinking ill see him in the crowds shots :-8

3. i got all my grocery shopping done on my lunch break so now i dont have waste my saturday doing it :o)ll

I like positivity,
1- I was down 3lbs in ww getting me my third silver seven (2st 1.5lbs down in total)
2- I am going to the bank tomorrow to lodge more money then usual thanks to a busy week and I found the cheque I thought I lost.
3- I got lots of compliments on my hair to day even though all I did was leave it down.

Ok I am in...

1. Its 3pm which means there is only 2 hours left for me in work
2. Tomorrow is Friday which means its the weekend!!
3. Going to town on Saturday to look at getting supplies to make my own wedding invitations with my mom- miss her lots so it will be nice to having a bonding day!

Oh it's a downey day for me today so lets see

1. Today is not a gym day.
2. Vistaprint send me one of those 'Free' emails so gonna get some stuff on that.
3. They had a really nice dinner in the canteen today.

I could certainly do with some positive vibes so I'll give this a go!

1. My LO did not freak out going into creche today which makes a change from the past few weeks (her daddy is away for a few months and she isn't coping well!)
2. I had my annual appraisal this week and got some very positive feedback
3. It's not definite but I could be getting a bonus next month - it's nice to just imagine the extra money coming in :o0

1. Getting married 3 months today (not sure if that is cheerful or panic :eek

2. Laundry is all done so none for the weekend
3. Sitting at home listening to the birds outside the window

I could do with some positivity- feeling in a funk for no apparent reason

- I got a lovely bikini in Next on my lunchbreak for my holidays (in 4 and a half weeks)
- I made a double portion of chilli for dinner last night so don't have to cook when I get home
- Less than 2 and a half hours left in work :o)ll

1. Was just talking to my niece (4 years old) in the US and she was telling my all her gossip
2. I'm on my own in work this afternoon and tomorow and *touch wood* it isn't busy so I can doss abit
3. It's almost the weekend and I can wear my civvies to work tomorrow and might have a few drinks with DH while watching the match tonight.

I'm in too - in a complete funk lately & starting to get dangerously close to slipping back under a black cloud again so a bit positivity won't go amiss. Here's my 3:

1) Only an hour & half left in work
2) I woke up feeling like I had energy this morning after several weeks of waking up feeling like I'd been run over by a bus in my sleep.
3) I managed to get list of follow-up items below 50 today for the first time in a very long time

Brilliant idea, have been reading your updates on Facebook and love them!

1. I applied to write a couple of pieces for an online magazine and they said yes! It's unpaid for now as it's a start up, but sure you never know for the future and it's good exposure.

2. In the email they sent back to me they said they were delighted to hear from me and were hoping I'd become a permanent contributor to the magazine, not just write a one-off piece!

3. I have lovely Slimming World spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and have a scrummy pot of veg soup on the stove right now to eat before dinner. All free, all delicious. Am starving and can't wait to get stuck in. The smell is gorgeous.

Im in - I've been in a fouler the last couple of days so in desperate need of positivity:

1. heading away on holidays in 9 days.
2. I'm not in as much pain today after bootcamp as i was last week - must be getting fitter!
3. Only one more day to the weekend (although I've so much to do ill be here late - get off WOL NN!)

jeepers they took me ages to come up with!

I couldnt have answered this yesterday so the fact that it appeared today is positive!

1. After 2 miscarriages I am nearly 8 weeks pregnant and up til now a nervous wreck, I have now calmed the flip down and plan to stay this way. It doesnt help me, my baby or OH.

2. Its my mums b'day, I made her a giant cupcake and I have wine and flowers for her too

3. We're going up to hers to watch the football and Ireland are going to win 1-0!!

1. Himself is in Poznan at the euros which means I havn't had to watch the football at all.
2. Have arranged to go for a little break with my mummy next month
