Nerja Brides 2012

Hi girls! I am getting married in July in Frigiliana Church and having the reception in the Balcon. I have done menu tasting etc but just organising the pre and post events. We have decided to have an evening on Cochrans Terrace 2 nights before the wedding O-O

and Im now trying to decide where to have the day after wedding event! I have heard lots of people have a bbq on the beach the next day, two of the places my wedding planner recommended are La Barca on Burriana beach and Papagayo right beside the Balcon de Europa. Just wondering has anyone any experience of either of these? Like which is better?! Also what time do these usually start at and what is the normal cost per person?

Just sorting my paperwork out tonight, I completely panicked when I read that the forms have to be with the DFA at least 4 months before the wedding (aka the next 10 days!! :duh:

) so going to get them posted off tomorrow!

Excellent video Colleen, so great to see a Nerja wedding getting married in 7weeks!!! Getting really excited now after seeing that nearly cried when you were walking up the aisle god it must be so emotional and so many funny bits with the priest during the ceremony :compress

We're heading over to Nerja in a few weeks for our last trip before our Wedding in August..

I still have not sorted my Flowers or cake. Can anyone recommend any suppliers in Nerja/ Malaga or Velez Malaga areas? I don't have a planner..

I'm looking for something a bit different that will stand out, but wont break the bank.

I'm getting married in Frigiliana and Cortijo Bravo.

Hi Everyone,
I'm just at the starting blocks.. just at the point of deciding if we go away or stay at home.. Yet to announce our engagement too!! - We should be announcing it in the next 2 weeks hopefully!!! I can't wait to tell my girlfriends... our parents know already.. bursting to tell the girls though!!

So - how are you finding it with regards to your guests.. how are people reacting to going abroad for your wedding... I must say looking over everyone's plans and sneaking a peak at some wedding planners.. this is really something that I would really love to do..

My H2B is more of a homebird though.. so he will need some enticing.. just wondering if you have some wedding planners.. or specific venues to recommend...

Hi Ladies! We are getting married in El Salvador church on October 26th 2012. We only got engaged four weeks ago but already have church booked, invitations chosen and I got my dress today. Everything is moving very fast but it's all so exciting! Can't wait! :o)ll

We were over in Nerja last week and looked around at a few venues ourselves but are still very undecided. We reckoon we will have about 80 quests with us. We would prefer to have the reception in a nice restaurant rather than a big hotel like the Balcon. Has anyone eaten in the Hotel Casa Jardin or in Casa Luque? Can you recommend either of these or do you know of somewhere else that you have had a really nice meal in? We would REALLY appreciate your help on this as our budget doesn't stretch to a wedding planner. O-O

Hey there
we have booked Monkey tennis. Have only seen a few amateur you tube vids of them but like their style and their play list was up our alley!! Positive feedback on them here made our minds up about them. Didnt want a typical cheesy wedding band at all! they are also doing DJ for us!

I also looked at Ian Preston. he looks great too but his style is more Rat Pack/Buble and while i love that style of music it isnt my OH style at all (or any of his friends) so that was shelved early enough!

hi brides

we are getting married on may 2013, so excited,but starting to stress about accomadation. can anyone reccomend a nice two bed apartment,nothing crazy expensive. we are getting married in el salvador, and then onto torress. So i dont know what to do the night of the wedding, are people booking into a hotel that night???
