Anyone tried Deanna/SMEP plan?

i use the clearblue digital opk. i find them easy to use but can be on the expensive side. they were on offer in dunnes and amazon recently :babydust:

Hi girls

Just quickly as I'm on my iPhone but I was on this train for god knows how long and used to wreck my head that people never came back to let us know if they managed to conceive and how. So seen as I'm due in the next few days I better post !
I used this plan for ages. Gave up alcohol caffeine the works. Followed plan exactly. Found it v tiring I have to say.
The weekend I conceived I went to Liverpool.my mam knew the stress I was under and begged me to forget bout it all for the weekend and go and have some fun. So that's what I did. I went got drunk for three days drank caffeine and ate what I wanted. Low and behold I tested positive the next month !
Now I don't know what worked. We baby danced a few days before we were supposed to according to the plan and I personally think that's what worked. I have short cycle and doing the deed on day 6 and 7 I think worked despite what opks say. Also we always used the preseed and used it that time.y mam thinks it's because I relaxed and let my hair down

Anyway while itjink this plan is useful and helps u understand ur cycle don't be a slave to it and really try ur hardest to have a month off not stress party and see what happens ! Worked for me !
Best of luck ladies I know how hard and heartbreaking it can be rspecsilly when miscarriage is involved like it was for u's but try themonth off idea. Cx

I am new to this whole SMEP thing and was wondering if theres anyone on this forum still actively trying??

I am on CD14 and we DTD'ing on all the right days so far.. i am due my AF on the 28th may so fingers crossed i will get som good news this month.

Me and hubby have just started ttc! good luck to you all who are trying and plenty of babydust to you :o)ll

We are going to give this a lash this month aswell - first month trying SMEP plan..
You'd never know I suppose....
We are on CD11 today and DTD on CD 7 and CD 9 ..... so ON again tonight :o0

Girls,

I tried this plan twice and it worked both times our 2nd month trying in both cases now I have a DS 20 months old and im 10 weeks pregnant now.Defo recommend it and we used pre-seed as well to help the swimmers :o0

Thanks for that info anon2009 !!! Great to know it works for some people.
I've had day 3 bloods done, and had a pelvic ultrasound and both have come back "normal" and GP says I should have no problem but is referring us to a fertility clinic just to check out everything else. SA is the next big step I think.
OH thinks there is nothing wrong - only that we are not DTD enough :o0

So we will see how we get on this month on SMEP !!!!! Should be plenty of DTD for him

Girls,

We done the SMEP Plan with Clear Blue Ov Sticks and preseed in Feb which resulted in my pregnancy in Feb, which was Ectopic :o(

...

But on the positive side, the SMEP worked and we concieved... yay :hyper:

so have started the OPKs again this month, (our first month trying again)

so hopefully will have an update for you all in June!!! ;o)

Hmmmmm....not really sticking to the plan so far! Bit off the mark but theres time to catch up (she says!)
DTD CD 7 (wasnt able to on 8 as DH away) 11, 13 and when i get my

(which ususally is day 14 /15) then hope to for the next 3 days (i think i'll do it tonight too just to be covered).
Fingers crossed.
And Pineapple chunks this month too :o0
