Buying wedding dress, accessories, bridesmaid stuff online

Hi everyone,

I'm getting married in 89 days (to be precise-yay!! :xox

). I still have a few things to get namely my dress, bridesmaid dresses and accessories - I have the shoes!!

Is it better to buy all or just some of these items online versus buying in town?
I know I'm up against the clock but I've heard that good value had be had online and I don't have a huge budget unfortunately.

Any suggestions?

Congrats! Thats so exciting I bet you can not wait!! iv much longer to wait :o(

If you have a small budget I would suggest having a look around seeing what you like and then see if you can get it cheaper online, thats what im going to try do where I can.
I have seen some lovely bridesmaid dresses I liked, in the shop they were 300 euro each but online they were 60 euro!!
So definitely look online but make sure you know how much time they need to deliver the items. The last thing you want would be things being delivered and you not liking them and having to return the item.

Congrats thats close u won't feel it!! Jus wondering what sites people hav looked at or bought from? I'm also on tight budget mostly due to wanting to go mad on the honeymoon!! I'v heard jjshouse was good but how long delivery is?

Hiya, yes I bought my 5 BM dresses from Dresselicious. I'm delighted with them- they are great quality material and workmanship. They are based in /waterford so there was no hassle returning one for a different size.

Does anyone know of any Irish websites that offer good value for all things bridal? I like the idea of not having to pay too much on postage especially if there is good value.

All about weddings have some jewellery, shoes & various accessories. They are based in Arklow. Prices are mixed, some fantastic bargains and other things seemed over-priced IMO. They have loads of lovely stuff and are very nice to deal with.

Its such a pity that there aren't more Irish affordable bridal accessories websites. It would give a bit more peace of mind to know that I could have something sooner than waiting for overseas deliveries, or I could drive and collect an item if I needed it urgently.

Should we start a campaign for more affordable Irish based bridal accessories websites??

I bought my dress online at bestbridalprices.com. It arrived within 2 months as I paid for a rush cut. In total including delivery, rush cut and customs tax on delivery it cost me about 400 euro. It's gorgeous and fits perfectly!
Have a look at some of the impressions dresses on the website as they are lovely and great value!

My dress arrived from DHgate last week, only two weeks since I ordered it! It's a copy of a Justin Alexander dress and I'm thrilled with it, great quality. The real dress costs around €2,000 and I got the copy for just over €100, delighted. I'll PM the name of the seller and pics to anyone who's interested
