bio oil or vitamin E???

HI
I just had stitches removed ...alot on my nose ...quiet red and angry looking..our wedding is coming up and just wondering has anybody been in similiar situation and if so what did you use to minimise the scarring??lots of people say bio oil while others say vit e so am very confused!!!

any other advice tips or anything at all would be very gratefull!!

Both!

Break Vit E capsules and rub into the skin to start off with.
While the scars are red stick to the vitamin E and once the redness has faded a little go onto the bio oil.

Take the allowed dosage of vit E capsules too, at both stages.

Be careful going out with either on though as they can react with the uv rays - so use a sun cream even in this crappy weather!

When is your wedding? If you are really concerned maybe ask gp for a cortizone cream

getting married end of aug...I was at doc yesterday she never mentiond that cream!!!!have you used it?

thanks so much for replying!!! do you mind me asking is that what worked for you or you know thats what work.i.e. vit e first then bio oil...

Morning

I have used both as has my mum too - it worked great for both of us.
If you start straight away you will see a difference Aug but I would talk to your doctor.

Hydrocortisone cream can really help but it can be harmful, as far as I know it is available over the counter but I would check before using it - it can be known to make scarring worse if not used correctly
