Its not just unhealthy things that are syn'd. If you eat extra bread, cheese, dairy products, some meat, sauces, fruit juice etc. I dont have any syns left to be stuffing curlywurlys into my mouth everyday.

So.... how did everyone do on their first week of Operation Transformation??

Coach - I do Slimming World and I don't use all my Syns all of the time. Some days I might not Syn at all - and I've gotten great results from the food plan.

Hey Last Rolo, We have been posting in the thread in Off Topic as there was 3 threads going at the same time. I lost 4lbs! So delighted with that!

Excellent Shampers!! I only lost 1lb but to be honest I wasn't sticking to it religiously... Starting Sunday/Monday on a very strict regime!! Hopefully.....

You'll be a whole new you in September!

Thanks I was delighted, first time making a proper effort and it has paid off. Ive more been following slimming world but OT is useful for recipes and ideas on what to eat. Have been doing the exercises from it too so seems to be working. Have 2lbs to lose this week so hoping I can keep it up. Definitely a new skinny me to walk down the aisle in September! ;o)

That was my plan - follow the Slimming World plan but get ideas from OT - unfortuntely I didn't stick to MY plan of sticking to THEIR plan (IYKWIM!)
Going away this weekend with h2b so SW/OT plan starts Monday! :o)ll

I have given up watching them unless I really need to check something! Don't rate her as a cook after I saw the "white sauce" she made on the veggie lasagne! She is irritating!

Vegtable bullion...... ITS VEG STOCK WOMAN!! :duh:

I wouldn't rate her highly either.

I surprised by the amount of Oil she uses and not the Cooking Sprays like Fry Light (although she used it on the Chicken & Veg Pie).

Yeah I know- in fact some of her potions are very big for things. Like 2 tablespoons of veg stock - thats a lot of stock like! And because I don't have a tablespoon, I use 3 and a bit desert spoons and it feels like tons (watch now I am probably waaaaaaay wrong on the estimation!!)

And why doesn't she use the low salt soy sauce. Thats the one we always used thinking we were being good but when i spotted her using the full stuff I was grabbing it off the shelf before you could say stir fry!

Can't wait to have the pork and colcannon this evening- we saved it for tonight because we would enjoy it more at the end of the week!
