rejoined weight watchers last night.....im hoping that this was the biggest step.

initially joined end of september at weighed in at 13 st .5lb

by first week of december i was 11 st 9 lbs.......

took the bull by the horns last night & rejoined at 11 st 13lbs...not a bad increase considering i had christmas thrown in the mix

hoping to get down to 11 st 2 lbs by easter ( maybe this is wishful thinking but we'll see how it goes!!)

any inspiration? recipe ideas anyone would like to share?

Hiya! Well done for your weight loss that's fantastic and also for taking that big step! I too joined back last nite, joined start of Oct 2011 and lost a stone by the end of Nov 2011 so was thrilled I did that but then I never went back as I got sick so weighed in and down 1lb and a half so I really need to get the skate's on and keep it up!!! Ive a good bit of baby weight and some extra to shift :-8.

I did weight watchers before and lost over 2stone so I know I can do it! I'm currently 13 stone 1lb

:-8 :weep. But I'm REALLY HOPING I can get down to around 11 stone by Easter! I'm dying to fit back into all my clothes comfortably :custum59

I don't have any recipes only the ones in the handout folder so hopefully someone can give us a few tips! Good luck!

Been in WW on and off for years...finally have cracked it - I think! It's never going to work unless you're really ready to commit and hopefully you're wedding is the kick you need! I went travelling a few years ago and that was mine - just about another 4/5 lbs and I'll be at goal but even then it's really about toning etc for the wedding rather than weight as such. One of the biggest things I find is to have a kitchen scales and weigh everything...looks a bit funny but it's worth it...pasta, meat...EVERYTHING :) Also have treats once/twice a week, it'll stop you from falling of the wagon. I find Tayto velvet cruch (2pp) gives me my crisps fix and then curly wirlys (3 pp) and jelly tots cure the sweet cravings. Also as we're coming back into summer, I love desserts but I started eating strawberries and Carte Dor light vanilla ice-cream (or even just the ice-cream on it's own - it's 1pp per scoop - I think). I've a very sweet tooth but you might be savory so it's all about finding a good option to cure the cravings and make you feel like you're not missing out - that way you'll be kept motivated and hopefully get to where you want!! Hope that helps! Good luck!
