on a low carb diet - its working (when i stick to it), but had a couple of pints last night and am SO craving a sandwich for my lunch......can't concentrate in work for the thought of it!! but if i do it, i'll bust my carb allowance and ruin all my good work this week.....

help people please! stop me caving in!!!

If you go for it, it won't ruin things. It will take a couple of days to get back to it, thats all. Do it if you really want it. Its not the end of the world

If it helps, I found nuts a great way of beating the cravings when I was on low carb diets.

Pistachio nuts are good because of the shells they take longer to eat.

Plain fruit and nut selections rather than the salted are better and help the sweet craving too.

Sorry am i being a little stupid, how are pints low carb?

Ive always stayed away from low carb diet because I though I couldnt help myself with the odd glass of vino

I think, not sure, but some beers are Low Carb. I think its larger is carb free (Heinekin etc..)...if you get an Atkins Carb Counter book, it'll tell you but I think Alcohol turns into sugar so you need to avoid that. Its never been a concern of mine. I'm not a big drinker.

heineken is not carb free, better to stick to wine or spirits, if you get the munchies snack on cheese and nuts
