does anyone have real life pictures of Ikea kitchens??? What do ye think of the quality of them

Do you have to use ikea appliances wtih them..or are they standard size units? We dont want to get an ikea cooker.

Hi we recently got our kitchen and we looked at ikea cause i love gloss kitchens.

We didn't go with Ikea but priced with them. My Oh was really put off with the holes running down the cabinets - they have pre-screwed holes running down the cabinets where you can put the shelves any height you want - but my OH said he couldn't live with them, he is very particular though. Also their price wasn't very competitive, we got cheaper prices pricing with kitchen companies. We got our kitchen made elsewhere for about 1.5K cheaper than ikea and at that price my OH would have had to put the kitchen together himself because it was even dearer using fitters.

Just to say you don't have to use their appliances, you give them your dimensions of the appliances you want.

I agree with the above post, we looked at ikea kitchens also a high gloss cream one. in the end went with a cabinet maker. By the time you add up all the bits there wasn't much difference in price and the kitchen def looked a higher quality.
