Here's the template anyway....

Some readings etc to pick from but you can change them once you download the finished booklet to Word.

Not sure where else to get readings - I just googled them!

Is it necessary for the bride and groom to recite the prayer of the newly married couple my priest sent it to me tonight in a template I had my order of service done since shortly after I announced my intention to marry last year but with the new translation to some prayers I have to re do it which is necessary but a pain none the less. its a lovely prayer but very long I don't know if I feel comfortable reciting it in front of everyone I'm worried I may forget it or stumble over the words I'm a little jittery when it comes to these things anyway so I got a little upset when I seen it in there. It may sound silly to get upset over such a small thing but I'm kind of having a hard time with the wedding preparations as it is

Hello Ladies (and any Gents)

I'm creating the Mass Booklets for my brothers wedding and his priest advised him that there have been some changes to the service etc. Can someone please point me in the right direction of a booklet that has all the most up to date information?

Much appreciated. :o)ll

Re: Mass Booklet Section - Help with Irish Translation

Postby sarah1979 » Tue Jun 12, 2022 8:09 am

Hi Guys,

Im just finishing off my mass booklet and Im wondering if someone could translate the following for me....At the Saviour's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say (and then we go on to say the our father in Irish).

I've been able to translate everything else myself but Im stuck with this bit. I looked at google translate and they came up with ....Ag ordú an Slánaitheoir agus déanta ag teagasc Dhiaga, dare orainn a rá but I think that translation is too literal?? If you cant translate this but know of another lead up to the our father Id be happy to use that either.

Thanks a million
