List of readings for Civil (or religious) wedding

Hi All,

I have spent the last few weeks trawling the web looking for readings/poetry that would be suitable for a civil wedding ceremony. I have compiled a Word document that's about 35 pages long, and I wondered if anyone else would like a copy to save them some legwork - I'd be happy to share and save someone else some time!! It would make me feel like all this surfing hasn't been in vain...It's not an exhaustive list of what's out there by any means, but it's personal to me - I only chose stuff that at first glance didn't seem tooooo vomity/sentimental and I know that's quite a personal thing!
A lot of the stuff would also work for a church wedding, if your priest/minister is willing to consider some non-bible readings.
If you PM me your email address I will send it over the next few days. I need an email address because it is not possible to attach a word document to a private message on this site, so I email it directly from my account. I promise I will not do anything dodgy with your email address!

Not sure this is the correct conversation to add this to but has anyone else thought of "handfasting"?

We are having a church ceremony but really want to add this celtic tradition to it but not sure if it acceptable in the church?
