November 2011 wives

Re: November 2011 wives

Heading home to my Dad, then will go to my sisters for dinner on Christmas day. Can't see us ever spending Christmas with DH's family, I like to go home to my Dad and visit my mam's grave after Christmas day mass. We're big into Christmas and family time, his family aren't.
Really looking forward to the holidays, but will be so weird not drinking! I sound like such an alco, but I love a glass of wine and an Irish coffee on Christmas day!

I am the same, I can't imagine not going to my family home for Christmas. We are definitely bigger into Christmas and I just am more relaxed at my own home and can do what I want. DH happy enough to come too so hopefully he won't change his mind when next year comes along!!
Not Mrs k2b anymore!

Well our first Christmas was lovely! Nice quiet few days...

About 18/19 weeks now to the honeymoon - it's keeping me going through the dark mornings and evenings!

Has anyone done the Thank You cards yet, or planning on doing them soon?

Done already - Combined Chrimbo & Thank you cards with pics from Snap printing. Kinda glad it's all sorted.

Hey Newly Weds :compress
Just wondering have any of you received any of the photos from your photographer?? I'm dying to see some of mine, I know it will be a couple of months for the album but thought I would've got a disc with some by now
Haven't done anything about the thank you cards yet must start looking into it

I have my photos on a disc and my album, and I have the wedding DVD too. They were all done by the time we came home from HM.

We got our photos just before Christmas. Will have to wait a few months for the DVD. Currently looking at the various options for thank you cards. Was going to go with a photo thank you card, but got two recently and now have gone off the idea, thought the ones we got looked a bit tack :-8 . Definitely want to have the thank you cards posted out within three months though.
