Wedding Photos - How Long to Wait?

Hi All, I've put this in Old Faithful too but was hoping some of you newlyweds might be able to assist:

I got married at the end of September and chose the disc only option with our photographer (with a view of getting an album from him at a later date)
The day after the wedding, the photographer had put a selection of pictures on his website for us to view and told us he would have the disc when we returned from honeymoon. We told him there was no rush with them but he assured us we would have them by then.
We have now been back over a month and I emailed him just to let him know we were back and to find out roughly when we would have the pictures. I didn't receive a reply so I tried to ring him and left a voicemail (in which I said that we were just looking for an update and when we might receive the disc) and still no reply.
When we booked him, we paid just under half the agreed price as a deposit and we paid the balance in full on the day of the wedding. We're not trying to put pressure on him, I mean we are happy to wait for the disc but the lack of contact is worrying.
Short of going to his house and demanding the disc, I'm at a loss as to what we should do.
Could anyone give any advice on how long they were waiting for their disc of photos or what I can do? Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance :thnk

We got married in october and i havent seen any photos from our guy. I didnt ring him either on it yet... Must do it this week..

Just an update, we got our disc of photos from our photographer on Christmas Eve.
They are good but some of the pictures our friends took were better. He didn't do any editing at all - not even removing red eye! We have seen some of his previous work and I know he can do better so maybe he felt we were putting him under pressure and he'd send us something unfinished instead of not sending anything. My hubby is interested in photography and is going to do some work on them but needless to say, we wont be going back to the photographer for an album.

Waiting time for my Photos is around 2 months but no longer. I always send few photos 1-2 days after wedding. In about 2 months gallery online and albums, slideshows are ready to collect.
