anyone out there get married on the aran islands?

hi girls,
i'm newly engaged and from mayo.plan on having a small wedding of 100.would love to do something different and was looking into aran islands.think it looks lovely but is there anyone out there who got married or was at a wedding there. would love to here your opinions? :wv

i'm gonna head out there the next week i'm off. was there much of a choice with bands,flowers etc or did u just pick anyone u wanted and they travelled to the island.that's the most thing i'd be worried about having no choice. really considering it now.if ye can travel from meath surely we can manage from mayo. thanks.

We got ppl to travel onto the island,as for the flowers we just got someone to collect them on the sat morn and bring them over on boat.Our band came from mayo and were fantastic.Ah it was a great day-it was just a brillant atmosphere as everyone was there for wedding and as they werent going home everyone just relaxed.I was very nervous about having it on the Island but was well worth it.
