Anyone regret not having video?

Hi,
I'm just wondering did anyone who didnt have video at wedding regret not having one? Myself and OH have said all along that we wouldn't like to have one, but every now and again I have doubts and think in a few years it mite be nice to look back on. I just dont really like the idea of a video on us all day. Would love to hear some of ye're thoughts :wv

I had one, and the reason we went with one in the end is because my sister didn't have one and she said she regretted not having one. She said she missed having something to look back on when they came back from HM and all the fuss had died down.
You could go with a package where the video would just cover from the church to the first dance, most videographers are experts at being so discreet you won't know they are there.

We have no regrets not having a video as we decided to invest our money in the best photographer we could afford. We had an uncle that had a camcorder on the day but the quality isn't great but at least it's something!

That's my only regret of the Day. I really wish I had gotten a videographer to record our day and I could look at it every now again.

a friend of ours went above and beyond for her wedding and kept dropping hints to her OH for a videographer but he never booked one and she is raging.

We had my nephew film ours so if your budget doesn't stretch for a professional just have a member of your family do it as no matter the quality it's nice to have soemthing to look back on.

I have noticed from other posts that those saying don't get one are those that didn't get one and everyone that had one (this sounds confusing) are thrilled that they did. I guess those that didn't get one don't miss what they never had.

I had no video and the only thing i regret is not having the church part recorded.

I hated the idea of video in my house that morning and as I had to do the speech I did not want a camera in my face for that.

However now I would have loved the church part recorded.
