Hi girls,
has anyone had their familys moaning over invites mine are p****** me off,some people just expect an invite just because they are related and i dont even know them personally

Hi babyface, I haven't had that problem thank goodness as I decided when I was getting married I wasn't going to go down the road of asking all the aunts/uncles/cousins who I don't see from one end of the year to the next! And to be honest it wouldn't bother me one bit if their noses were out of joint about it as, like I said, I hardley ever see them. Once upon a time when people had huge weddings it was the thing to ask just about every relative you had but not anymore. I don't mean this in a horrible way but I didn't want doddery old aunts and uncles there that other relatives are going to end up minding for the day and not be able to enjoy it themselves. Try not to let it upset you.

I am only inviting my mothers sisters as my parents are pretty much paying a good chunk off the reception but no cousins are getting invited. We are only inviting people we care about and have a relationship with that reached more then a christmas card!
