Im looking for some different ideas!!

hi everybody!!

Im new to the site, this is my first time posting!! the site!

I have a bit of a dilema, the venue we are going to is very much in demand and 99% of guests have been to atleast one wedding there before! So im looking to do something/somethings different. I will be getting a pix and mix stand, but i really would love some help to think up of ideas, and would love to know of special ideas that other brides planned for their big day!

I look forward to hearing how they went and maybe some tips of stuff to stay away from!

Guess it depends how different you want to go. Do you just want the thoughtful personalised bits? Like a sweet buffet is very common now but I think just a nice 'extra'. Also, other things like bathroom baskets, flip flops, canapes, arrival drinks music, photo booth with props, speech bingo etc are all nice extras but not necessarily different.

Or do you want something more memorable? Maybe something like the entertainment would have the most impact and be most memorable for your guests. How about fireworks (budget allowing!) or something like singing waiters etc or fun dancers for during the interva? One with crowd participation like salsa or line dancers?

Hi girls,

I too am new to this site. I know some venues allow you get an outside cocktail bar in. Girls love cocktails so maybe look into that for an hour or two before the evening starts :)
