I had one of those days today where I felt very organised and started planning more of our wedding! We're getting married in August 2010 and have already booked the church, hotel, photographer, videographer and a few more things. I decided to email the priest to ask him if he could meet with us to go through a few things. I've a list of areas that I want to go through, but do you think there is anything else I should ask him at this stage.
So far I have:
*Confirming time of wedding
*Asking which pre-marriage course they accept
*Whether it's ok to have a family friend who's a priest help say the mass
*Donation to the church / priest fee
*Flowers for church
*Whether we can have the church choir or supply our own church singer

I know we'll be meeting with him sooner to the date as well, but if there's anything important I should be asking at this stage I'd really appreciate your ideas.
Sorry for the long post!
Thanks in advance!

Those are all good questions. Maybe also ask him about church music, ie does it have to be restricted to hymns or can you use appropriate non-religious music.

Thanks for that, good question cuz I was thinking of having a couple of non-traditional songs during the ceremony. I'll add that to my list! Thanks again.
