Oooohh Feather, really hope you get a good surprise tomorrow, have to say it sounds quite suspicious to me, getting so many faint lines, if it was just one id discard it as an evap line, but on a few of them hhhmmm...
Dont want to get your hopes up, but when i was pg with ds i didn't get a + HPT until i was 7 wks pg!!!! , not even a faint line!

Olshue, how you doing pet? How long more do you have to wait now before you can test? Hope that its not dragging too much for you and that you keeping busy and well.
Not sure either why they recommending IUI for me with blocked tube, and why they suggesting we give it a month or so on the clomid before even trying iui. Especially, as Feather said, after her post lap app they recommended she start IUI straight away!! It all seems a bit crazy and confussing but am just hoping that they know best. Other doc in Hari told us that ultimately it was up to us if we wanted to go straight onto IVF but that doc M thought IUI was worth a try and that most people like to try all options before IVF cos so invasive and expensive (as you know). In my mind I am thinking that IUI still expensive enough based on the odds we have, but will give it a go for a cycle and see.

Can I ask why you were going to go to SIMS if the ivf didn't work? Was it just to try new docs or do they have other procedures Hari don't?
Have my acupuncture app on Thurs and really looking forward to it (although I think that my bleeding has imporved this month - perhaps due to the clomid).
Have a silly question, what should I wear? Where will she put needles and will I need to undress?

Caoimhe1 guess we have to put our faith in the drs as they have done it a million times but it's hard trying to figure them out or know what's best, at least they will offer you IVF straightaway if you wan to go for it. Enjoy the accu on Thurs.

Mrsddt it sucks about the poss anov cycle, clomid must have screwed up your natural cycles. But isn't it normal to have an anov cycle every 12-18mths, think I read that somewhere. Hope the accu & massage get you back to yourself soon and get that BFP.

Hi girls, just a quick check in catching up after my hols. Hope you're all doing OK.
I seem to have ov'ed last week, day 14, so perhaps I will just have a 28 day cycle this month on the clomid - it was day 19 last month which was very late for me, so I blamed the clomid.
Not holidng up too much hope, though my temps are still high but it's only 7dpo so no point in even thinking about it at this stage. I find myself going through every cycle now just thinking about the next one, I've lost the ability to expect a different outcome than I've had the last 23 cycles.
Thinking of looking into SIMS because HARI are just taking too long to see me, despite my being a patient of the Rotunda private clinic for over a year. Getting very frustrated...
Feather I'm so sorry you must be so frustrated. Hope fully the cyst will go quickly & you can get back on track.

I know this may be a shot in the dark girls but I am totally exhausted today & it's kinda building up the last few days. I fell asleep on the couch this afternoon & DH had to wake me up but I'm sitting on the couch watching the MJ memorial yawning & crying at the same time!!
I have very dull AF type pains down below, do you think this is a sign? Could I be PG?? it is a real shot in the dark but could I?

Soon, i can understand your frustration with Hari... I was well annoyed yesterday when I couldnt speak to someone... and thats just one day... I sent off for the SIMS stuff at the beginning, but never filled it all in... For me, the location isnt the best, so that sorta held me off pursuing there. Mind you, I would consider moving if I felt things werent progressing to my satisfaction...
Vonny... wouldnt it be wonderful if after all this time you get a bfp... when are you due? Might you test soon? Good luck

June 09 IUI #1 - BFN
On the SIM's appt i had made, just really wanted to have a back up plan if it didn't work out or we had no snowbabies to do a frozen transfer, money wise we would not have been able to afford another ICSI cycle, so our next option was looking at doing d-iui in SIMs as HARI dont do this. Now thank god we were blessed and things ok so far. SIMs have a fantastic reputation and seem to be the most advanced with tests/treatments ect and also are much quicker at getting things moving.
Now as we had severe MFI we got seen quickly and were on the road to treatment very quickly also. Now we were very very happy with HARI so wouldn't dream of putting anyone off iykwim, its just the waiting times ect are a real pain. Sorry now i'm rambling on here, hope that all made sense
Feather i'm glad you got scan today and are on road to getting going again, please god next one will be the lucky one

Not a hope in hell will I test before the 13th when I think I'm due, on my 37 days cycle. but I think I ov'd early but never wrote it down of course!!And now i can't remember the date, so I don't know if it's due or am I late. I'll just wait it out, a week won't make any difference to my sanity
Sorry girls - not logging in too much as trying to get out for a walk/jog in the evenings....but read every day so know how everyone is doing. Still no sign of ov and getting ewcm.....have decided I am not doing anymore opks and will only take my temp every couple of days. Really think its from coming off the clomid so just gonna have to sit tight and see what happens. Would have been due Af yesterday
vonny - that sounds amazing. I've been doing a bit of research on complementary therapy and has to be worth a shot. I'm going again on Friday and really looking forward to it already. Will keep you posted.
feather/soon/ever hopeful - Was thinking of changing to SIMs myself but location would be difficult for me. Clane was another option (very near home- good for DH but I work in City Centre so awkward for me) so think I'll just stick to Rotunda for the mo and getting more frustrated as I haven't even got a sniff of HARI yet. Gonna go back in Oct/Nov though and see if he'll do IUI at least.

Have decided to try Hungary for ivf, heading away for initial consult at the end of the month. Hope then to begin process in Sept.
Any tips/questions/advice for the initial consult...(you know yourself-probably will think of lots of them afterwards). Just want to get all info so I can get my head around it all.

Maryhelena, just to wish you the best of luck with it as it can be very daunting in another country & the language barrier. Just to make you aware they are not as modest in these countries
I remember an old post from a wollie when she went abroad for a gynae appointment they did her scan & didn't even put a towel across her to cover her bits, so do bring a towel with you just incase.

Again an Anon hope af arrives soon so you can start the clomid. Its mad once you want it to arrive it seems to take forever to arrive and when you dont want to see it bang it arrives early
Well I did a FR o Monday which as ecpected was negative. AF arrived yesterday but is as good as gone today so I'm stil none the wiser
