I'm wondering what colour best describes these two ladies?

Copper or Brown?

Do you think it's an all over colour or are there highlights in these pics?
I think Isla Fisher has sections of dark brown and red/copper?

Basically I want this colour, I've been getting all over copper (turned out too red IMO) and last time asked for brown was too dark, chocolate brown over the copper I already had in, now washed out looks ok, apart from being washed out?

Would love some advice please.

You should bring the photos into your hairdresser, I find it easier to show them what I like rather than trying to describe it! HTH

The 2 shades would be described completely different imo. First one i would have said is an all over tint, maybe a chestnut/chocolate/mahogany colour, it would probably be a mix of a med brown and either a chestnut or mahogany colour cause there is a lot of warm tones in it

Islas would probably be an all over tint as well but more on a copper tone, if there is any highlight its very slight and the darker colour is probably her own colour underneath as most peoples hair tends to be darker underneath where its not as exposed

I'd say its the lights on them thats making them look like they have highlights, you cant beat any warm/red/copper colour for reflecting light
