30 Day Shred

30 Day Shred

Postby lion » Sun Jan 01, 2022 1:51 pm

Hey all, happy new year!

I have a stone of baby weight (and Christmas weight!) left to lose and have decided to try to the 30 day shred for January, any takers? would be great to get some motivation...

I tried it before about 2 years ago and found it good, but I didn't do it for 30 days straight.

Babs Christening is on the 28th Jan and I have my eye on a lovely dress.......

Hi Ladies,

No matter what form of exercise you partake in, please remember that the exercise is only 5% of the effort. The other 95% is your healthy eating plan. So if you get fed up with the workouts, get some other form of exercise in. Once you continue with your "clean eating" you will do really well. Love to hear how you are both getting on.Regards michael. mypt.ie

Hi lion

I started the 30 day shred yesterday. I just want to tone up.
I like the way its only 20mins each day. I am a bit sore today after my first day yesterday. I am hoping the soreness eases off as I continue with the program.
How are you getting on?

Anyone else doing this program and how are you finding it?

:)

Hi ladies. Snap lion I have a stone left of baby weight to shift also. I have the DVD from a few years back and started it again this morning. Didn't find it too bad. I've been following ww since July and have 11/2 stone already gone but need to tone up bigtime. Hope/planning to do the full 30 days without a break. Takes me nicely up to my sisters hen party in February. Good luck fellow shredders :)

I'd forget about exercise for the weight-loss. Concentrate on the diet first and foremost.
If you're already working out, obviously continue to do so and change your diet.
If you don't currently train, I'd advise sorting out the diet first then gradually introduce exercise for general health

cheers

I go to weightwatchers, and last week I did the 30-Day Shred every day. When I limped into my meeting groaning with pain, I was UP A BLOODY POUND. O:| So I've retired the DVD for a while, whatever about toning up, I certainly can't afford to put on any more weight, muscle or not!

I can see how the DVD would work, and it's a great way to exercise, but my god the pain... trying to get up off the loo was a mammoth exercise after Day 2!!!

Candlequeen keep with it! I've only lost three pounds on the 30 day shred since January but I look a lot better and my clothes are fitting me again. I know that you are trying to lose weight, but trust me, gaining muscle will be better for you in the long-run and you'll look and feel better. I don't do the DVD everyday, three times a week at most and and on the evenings that I don't do it, I hit the crosstrainer.... but I'm beginning to get arm definition. For the first time in my life! :)

I thought I had to do it every day!!!! Could definitely manage a couple of times a week, the thoughts of arm definition makes me VERY happy :)

muscle weighs more than fat so initially you will go up a few pounds but if you continue u will notice u have toned up loads.
Ive been doing trx classes and in four weeks ive lost 10 lbs (im only 5.4 and weighd 10 stone) so i havent a load to loose. but im hooked on trx :o)ll
