Food for smallish wedding

Food for smallish wedding

Postby Winter2012 » Fri Apr 06, 2022 1:03 pm

Hi, we are having our wedding in a country pub, 80 invited (all close family with a few friends).

What do u think of soup for starters followed by a choice of steak and chips OR turkey and ham dinner.

Then sticky toffee pudding for desert.

Is the steak and chips suitble for a wedding dinner?!

Will aslo ba about 20 childen (included in the 80), thinking of offering childrens menu for them!

If the steak is cooked to order I think steak and chips would go down a storm if I'm honest. Personally I don't like to see turkey & ham on a menu, its just too dry. Would you consider a fish option or perhaps chicken?

Good luck with the wedding, sounds lovely and intimate with 80, we got married abroad and the smaller number is lovely IMO :thnk

+1

I love your menu and the relaxed tone of your wedding but there's just something about Turkey that reminds me of school dinners/ dry christmas dinners. People will be weak for the steak I'd say!
